Volunteer for Native Plant Planting

Join a hands-on volunteer event in the Howe Sound Biosphere Region to help restore crucial salmon habitat at Roberts Creek Estuary! Volunteers will plant native species and remove invasive ivy, supporting a vital wildlife corridor for salmon and other species.

🔹 What to Bring: Gloves, eye protection, clippers, a sturdy shovel, and a watering can.

🔹 What to Wear: Long sleeves, waterproof boots, and rain gear if needed.

This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn about habitat restoration, and take action for conservation. Your efforts will help protect Roberts Creek, a key salmon spawning area on the Sunshine Coast!

Location: Roberts Creek Pier/Mandala parking lot

Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (PT)
