Wildflower and Native Grass Planting

Wildflower and Native Grass Planting

With Parks Canada

“Your help plays a key role in restoring disturbed sites, such as old gravel pits for the park's early road construction or recent construction sites for park facilities. These sites are a short distance from access roads, making it a great activity for various ages including families with older children.

We will be planting in the park's scenic, native fescue grasslands at a site along the Red Rock Parkway in the morning. In the afternoon, we will plant at trailheads along Akamina Parkway”

Location: Waterton Lakes National Park

Time: 8:30am-12pm Mountain Time
