This exciting global event runs from February 14–17, 2025, inviting bird lovers of all ages to count and report their bird sightings from anywhere in the world. Whether you're watching birds in your backyard, a local park, or a nature reserve, your observations will contribute to real-time research on global bird populations. It’s easy to take part—just spend 15 minutes or more birdwatching, identify the species you see, and report them using the Merlin Bird ID app. No experience necessary! This is a fantastic way to connect with nature, improve your bird identification skills, and be part of a worldwide effort to protect birds.
