Join Eriel Tchekwie Deranger, Executive Director of Indigenous Climate Action, for an insightful workshop on the role of Indigenous leadership in climate justice. As a Dënesųłiné member of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, Eriel will share her experience founding ICA and discuss how Indigenous knowledge offers critical solutions to climate change.

This session will explore:
🔹 The impact of settler colonial history on Indigenous knowledge systems.
🔹 The importance of Indigenous rights in achieving climate justice.
🔹 Why mainstream climate solutions must integrate Indigenous-led approaches.
