Geomorphology Meeting in the Fundy Biosphere

With Petitcodiac Watershed Alliance

The Petitcodiac Watershed Alliance invites you to an engaging public meeting to discuss erosion remediation and species at risk conservation in the Fundy Biosphere Region. This is an opportunity to learn about the latest fieldwork, share insights on potential remediation sites, and contribute to the health of our watershed.

🌿 Key Topics Covered:

  • The impact of erosion on species at risk and the broader ecosystem

  • Best practices for managing waterside properties to prevent erosion

  • Insights from this season’s fieldwork, including electrofishing, habitat surveys, and assessments

  • Upcoming habitat restoration projects using technical and naturalized methods (FlexMSE bags, native vegetation)

Community Input Matters!

Your local knowledge can help identify critical cold-water habitats and areas affected by erosion for future restoration efforts. Join the discussion and help shape conservation initiatives in your region.
