“The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is a yearly count of all birds in the Western Hemisphere and it has been taking place since 1900! This is the longest-running Citizen Science project in North America. Each year, members and friends of Nature Moncton crisscross Greater Moncton to count wild bird species in our area.

The 2024 count day will be Saturday December 14, 2024. Mitch Doucet will be this year’s compiler and he can be reached at MitchDoucet@Gmail.com.”
