Open House, Forum & Youth Summit

With Beaver Hills Biosphere

The Beaver Hills Biosphere invites you to Stories From the Land, a three-day event featuring an Open House, Forum, and Youth Summit. This is an opportunity to connect with experts, organisations, and fellow attendees who are passionate about conservation, sustainability, and the unique landscapes of the Biosphere.

🌿 Open House – March 11, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Discover the Beaver Hills Biosphere from both Western and Indigenous perspectives with keynote speakers, networking, and a trade show featuring local organisations. Complimentary refreshments provided.

🌍 Forum – March 12, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hear from conservation leaders, researchers, and land stewards working on key projects in the Biosphere. Topics include watershed stewardship, invasive species management, Indigenous conservation, and living with wildlife. Includes networking opportunities, a trade show, and a light meal. $25 per person.

🌱 Youth Summit – March 13, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Designed for young professionals (ages 18–35), this free summit provides an introduction to the Biosphere and UNESCO network, Indigenous storytelling, a youth perspectives panel, and interactive networking with conservation organisations. Lunch and refreshments included.

Attend one, two, or all three days—this is a rare chance to engage with the people and organisations shaping the future of the Beaver Hills Biosphere.
