2025 Snow Goose Festival
Celebrate one of Alberta’s most awe-inspiring natural events — the spring migration — at the 2025 Snow Goose Festival in the Beaver Hills Biosphere!
On April 26–27, head to Tofield for two full days of wildlife tours, nature talks, hands-on activities, and family-friendly fun. Witness thousands of snow geese and waterfowl as they soar across the skies during this seasonal spectacle.
The festival lineup includes:
🐦 Guided bus and walking birding tours (starting at 8am daily)
🛍️ Free-admission trade show with nature vendors and kids’ crafts
🗣️ Daily guest speaker series featuring wildlife experts
🎨 Live bird exhibits and interactive art projects
🍽️ Saturday night banquet with keynote talk by Wes Olson on bison ecology
Perfect for birders, families, nature photographers, and curious newcomers alike, this event offers a front-row seat to migration magic — all while supporting local conservation.
